1. Assassin’s Creed Series
Here’s the fun one: Every named character you kill throughout the Assassin’s Creed series is a real person, real in history, and their location and year of death in the series is the same as that their point/year of death in real life. However, none of them were actually killed by a hooded, free-running assassin, as far as we know.
2. Batman: Arkham Asylum
For six months after Arkham Asylum was released, no one knew about its large easter egg, so the developers had to introduce it themselves. Go into the warden’s office inside Arkham Mansion and blow up the wall to the left of the fireplace. A secret room! And inside the secret room? Blueprints for a city-scale expansion of Arkham Asylum, a trailer for the game’s sequel, Arkham City.
3. Batman Arkham City
After you defeat Ra’s Al Ghul and exit the sewers in Arkham, quickly stop and chat with Killer Croc. He’s super friendly in a “I want-to-kill-you” way.
4. BioShock 2
In the first BioShock, you find yourself in the underwater dystopia of Rapture after your plane crashes into the sea. In BioShock 2, you find the remains of that plane, scattered across a mountain under the sea. Continuity!
5. border zone 2
“Double rainbowwww!” Go to the edge of the Hyperion base and jump off it; you land using this sheltered tent area. Look to the horizon and you see a double rainbow. That’s when Handsome Jack or Claptrap recounts the “Double Rainbow” monologue that went viral a few years ago.
